Course Overview
Change Management is associated with the effects and management of change; this is primarily within organisations where change can have greater impact. This qualification is based on the theory and application of change for the individual, change for the organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement and change management best practice. Once you have passed the Foundation qualification you can progress to the more advanced Practitioner qualification.
Duration
This is an intensive three-day course that prepares you for the Change Management Foundation examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found on our website. In addition, whilst attending your course, there will also be some examination preparation evening work.

Target Audience
The Change Management qualification is aimed at anyone involved in change at any level within an organisation:
- Change leaders (e.g. senior responsible owners)
- Change managers
- Portfolio managers

- Change ‘agents’ (e.g. business change managers)
- Change implementers (e.g. programme/project managers)
- Change support (e.g. programme/project office) and operational line
- Managers/staff
- Senior management
Pre-Course Reading
A concentrated course that requires you to complete mandatory online pre-course study, which is designed to take approximately six to eight hours to complete. Full instructions with a link to the online pre-course will be issued within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.
The Exam
Exams are taken online via remote proctor. Two weeks prior to course commencement TSG will arrange for an exam voucher to be issued. You then have a choice, you can either:
- Book a suitable time after your virtual classroom event has finished to undertake your exam,
OR
- We currently allocate exam time within the virtual classroom event. So that you can book directly, we will advise you of recommended exam timings as part of the candidate guidance — this is issued three weeks prior to course commencement
Note: You are responsible for booking your own exam.
EXAM FORMAT
- Multiple choice
- Four sections, total of 50 questions
- 25 marks required to pass (out of 50 available) – 50%
- 40 minutes duration
- Closed-book

- Appreciate the impact of change on organisations , how to build momentum for change and sustain it
- Understand the importance of defined change roles, and how to build and support an effective change team
